I was asked to create a video to showcase Vibe’s new digital whiteboard and all it’s wonderous capabilities. Immediately I knew this was going to be a tough shoot solely because we’d have to replace all the screens in post and animate the “gestures” and functions after the green screen. So, after a two-day shoot and tons of footage, I started the herculean task of screening, garbage-matting, and rotoscoping shot after shot and slowly animating each and every function of the unit. We even mocked-up the units call function which required an entire separate shoot day. All in all we were very happy with the finished product and enjoyed having fun with some cat sandal imagery
Product photography was also a part of the project so on a third day I shot the product in a small studio with a handful of talented folks from the agency standing-in as models. Good work team! After masking out all the units, it was a simple screen replace with perspective and boom, project complete!
