I was asked to create a series of explainer videos for Apartment Guardian to demonstrate what comes in the box, how the unit works, and how to maintain the unit over time. After deciding that a 3-level explainer would be the best way to achieve the goal, I began with extensive storyboards, basically mapping-out exactly how I’d approach the project. Then, I took 4k video and high-res photos of the unit on a small light stage as well as all the items that come with it. Once I had all my assets I was off the races, animating for about two weeks including lending my voice for the voice over which I do pretty often these days.
